The Communiqué on the Amendment of the Communiqué no. 32 on the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency (Communiqué No: 2008-32/34) was published in the Official Gazette no. 31380 dated January 30, 2021.
With the amendment published in the Relevant Communiqué; the following paragraph (d) has been added to the seventh paragraph of Article 8 of the Communiqué (Communiqué No: 2008-32/34).
"d) Accommodation service contracts to be concluded by residents of Turkey in certified accommodation facilities from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism."
The Communiqué has come into force as of the date of publication. Therefore, as of 30.01.2021, accommodation service contracts that residents of Turkey will contract in certified accommodation facilities from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism can be decided in foreign currency or indexed to foreign currency.
